The benefit of temporary fence is, well, its portable nature! It is easy to install and dismantle and can be picked up and moved to accommodate changes at your job or event site. But this temporary nature also means panels are not permanently affixed to the ground with bolts or concrete posts, and for this reason, there are specific safety considerations to keep in mind.
Fences running in a long straight line, or where there is a risk of toppling from wind, should be stabilized by setting up in a zig-zag fashion, or installed with a perpendicular panel or t-post at regular intervals. If using u-clamps, be sure to attach them so the bolts are on the inside of your fence. This makes it more difficult for vandals to tamper with your fence.
